Our History
We started our journey with the traditional Lorena Advogados firm, founded in 1995. With the death of the founder in 2012, Dr Peterson, who previously acted as a partner, acquires part of the firm, and becomes its managing partner.
After that period, many changes occurred with the arrival of new areas of expertise to adapt to the needs of customers. The years 2015 and 2018 were very important for the firm, as became part of the society Dr. Milene Landolfi, Dr. Rosi Zacarella and Dr. Monica Bonetti Couto, respectively, changing the firm’s name to the current one: Zacarella, Landolfi e Bonetti Couto Advogados Associados.
Today we are proud of our journey, as it shows that we are on the right path with maturity, new opportunities, and continuous growth, always investing in academic training combined with experience.

The firm is composed of lawyers and experienced professionals, trained, and updated in several branches of Law, mostly masters and professors from the most renowned private universities in São Paulo. The partners participate in lectures, associations and have authorship in several legal books.

Areas of Expertise
CIVIL
The area of Civil Law is certainly the widest in the field of law, covering a diverse range of rights and obligations, among which we highlight: analysis and drafting of contracts; general obligations; civil liability of legal entities and professionals for material and moral damages; themes related to the location; execution of judicial and extrajudicial documents; collections; monitoring actions; property disputes, amongst others.
CONSUMER
We are able to defend the interests of client companies in their relations with the consumer market. Whether the company is a product supplier or a service provider, our firm has specialists who will advise, including preventively, on issues related to consumer relations. We work in both advisory and litigation areas, drafting contracts, assisting in the negotiation of agreements to resolve commercial disputes, civil liability, moral and material damages. We provide legal advice to consumer protection agencies, state PROCON’s, Special Courts and Public Civil Actions based on the Consumer Protection Code.
LABOR
Our firm acts on behalf of client companies in disputes filed by their employees and former employees, as well as on union issues. In addition to other issues pertaining to Labor Justice, such as: Preparation of employment contracts, assistance in obtaining indirect terminations, guidance on occupational accidents; defenses of client companies in relation to complaints to the workers’ protection bodies; guidance on rights and duties related to the employment relationship; negotiation and judicial approval of labor agreements, amongst other advisory and litigation activities.
CORPORATE LAW
The firm has a team specialized in matters that govern business relations, the rights and obligations of companies or entrepreneurs and their relations with the market, such as business contracts, intellectual property, credit collection, through collection, monitoring, execution, bankruptcy and judicial recovery, repossession and search and seizure, commercial representation, banking law, digital business law, amongst other areas related to companies and their day-to-day activities.
STRATEGIC LITIGATION
Our team has a strong presence in strategic judicial and administrative litigation, with a focus on resolving disputes in different spheres of the Judiciary, from the distribution of lawsuits in the first instance, with a solid performance in the higher courts.
Our work starts even before conflicts have begun, trying to avoid them, as we seek to know, in detail, the activities developed by our customers, as true business partners.
It is also important to mention that our firm seeks to privilege, whenever possible, the resolution of conflicts of interest even before its judicialization, however, with full expertise in the event judicial intervention is necessary.
ADVISORY
Analysis of the specific case and evaluation of the necessary measures to minimize the risks in eventual legal demands, reducing losses. Preparation of contracts specific to the needs of the contractors, aiming at greater assertiveness of the issues established by the parties.
OPINION
Preparation of an opinion based on a specialist to serve as the basis for a judicial decision.
